Your first step in complying with the DOT Clearinghouse is creating an account and designating your TPA. As an employer, you’ll use this account to run queries on your prospective and current employees and report violations. All drivers operating vehicles that require a CDL must complete the Clearinghouse registration process before they can respond to employer consent requests or access driver record in the FMCSA Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. TCS can help walk you through the process.
